First-Year Orientation will take place in July. There are 12 sessions over a three-week period in July—the weeks of July 11, 18, and 25, 2016. Attending a session provides you with the opportunity to meet other incoming Hokies, register for classes, learn about your new Hokie community and receive your Hokie Passport ID card.
Your specific orientation session is based on when advisors from your academic department/major are present to assist you with registration. As a result, you may have fewer than 12 sessions from which to choose. To view the dates available to your major you will need to sign up through Hokie SPA.
If you change your major, you must log back in to Hokie SPA and sign up for a new session to ensure you are attending the correct orientation session.
If you have any questions, contact New Student and Family Programs at 540-231-3284, firstname.lastname@example.org, or message us through our chat service (just click the button on the right!).
We look forward to meeting you in July!
